About the estate

The Josef Ehmoser winery cultivates first-class vineyards in the eastern part of the Wagram region, which is characterised by glacial loess soils. The origins of the estate date back to the grandfather, who planted the first vineyard on the Hohenberg. Sustainability, organic-biological viticulture and an unconditional commitment to quality form the guiding principles for the work in the vineyards and cellar. The estate is a member of the Traditionsweingüter Österreich association and produces characteristic wines such as Grüner Veltliner in the Ried Georgenberg and Ried Hohenberg single vineyards.
