About the estate
The Tibaani estate is situated in the village of Tibaani within Georgia's Kakheti region and looks back on centuries of winemaking heritage. Led by winemaker and director Vano Abulashvili, the winery cultivates the Rkatsiteli grape variety for wines within the Tibaani PDO denomination. Winemaking relies on traditional methods utilizing qvevri, which are large underground clay vessels for natural fermentation and aging. The portfolio features wines such as the Tibaani Protected Designation of Origin aged in qvevri. All wines are crafted in harmony with nature, honoring the ancient Georgian wine culture.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Saperavi and Rkatsiteli.
