Terres d'Esclans

About the estate

The Terres d'Esclans estate was founded in 1972 by Philippe and Odette Miguet in Provence and is now run as a family business. Covering 6.5 hectares of vineyards, the estate farms south-facing slopes at an altitude of 150 meters organically. The very stony clay and limestone soils provide ideal conditions for a diverse range of grape varieties, including Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Vermentino. Harvesting is done entirely by hand in the early morning hours, followed by gentle pressing and maturation using indigenous yeasts. The portfolio consists of natural wines produced with minimal sulfur additions and without filtration.
