About the estate
The Terreno estate is located in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany and cultivates vineyards across different geological formations, including Macigno del Chianti and soils characterized by a strong presence of calcareous pebbles. The winery's grape variety spectrum includes Sangiovese, Malvasia, Trebbiano, Petit Manseng, Roussanne, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, among others. Harvesting is done traditionally by hand in small crates, and only natural yeasts are used to initiate fermentation. Depending on the product, the wines are aged in large oak barrels and subsequently in the estate's cellar. The portfolio features various denominations such as Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG and Toscana IGT.
