Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Terreno liegt in Greve in Chianti in der Toskana und bewirtschaftet Weinberge auf unterschiedlichen geologischen Formationen, darunter Macigno del Chianti sowie Böden mit starker Präsenz kalkhaltiger Kiesel. Zum Rebsortenspektrum des Betriebs gehören unter anderem Sangiovese, Malvasia, Trebbiano, Petit Manseng, Roussanne, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon und Petit Verdot. Die Lese erfolgt traditionell per Hand in kleinen Kisten, und für die Gärung werden ausschließlich natürliche Hefearten verwendet. Der Ausbau der Weine findet je nach Produkt in großen Eichenfässern sowie in der unternehmenseigenen Kellerei statt. Das Sortiment umfasst verschiedene Denominationen wie Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG und Toscana IGT.
