The Terre Sparse estate was founded in 2001 in Bienca, a hamlet of Chiaverano in Piedmont, and is operated as a family business. The winery is located within the morainic amphitheatre of Ivrea, where previously abandoned terraced lands and old vineyards have been progressively restored. In 2009, an estate winery was established, which was subsequently expanded with dedicated spaces for production and aging. The portfolio includes grape varieties such as Freisa, Uva Rara, and Slarina, yielding wines like the red Essenne, the white Vin d’la Topia, and the rosé Rarissima.
