About the estate
The Tenuta San Giorgio estate was founded in 1989 by Urs Rudolph in Cassina d'Agno, Ticino, and is located on the slopes of the Collina San Giorgio overlooking Lake Lugano. Today, the winery is managed by Mike Rudolph, who produces authentic wines of the highest quality with a small team. The estate comprises around eight hectares of vineyards planted with varieties such as Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. Vinification takes place in an in-house cellar that has been continuously expanded and currently produces around 35,000 bottles annually. The wines are represented in fine dining establishments and specialized trade under the Ticino DOC denomination.
