The Tenuta Iris estate was founded in 2017 by Gabriele Frusca in Grumello del Monte, Lombardy. The family-run winery cultivates over two hectares of vineyards in Valcalepio with grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Moscato Giallo, and Franconia. The work in the vineyards relies on natural treatments and manual harvesting to preserve the integrity of the grapes. In the cellar, the wines are aged in French oak barrels, with each grape variety vinified separately. The estate produces wines within denominations including Bergamasca IGT and Valcalepio.
