About the estate
The Az. Agricola Valba estate is located in Cenate Sopra in the province of Bergamo at the foot of Mount Misma. Across 2.5 hectares of steep southern-exposed vineyards at an altitude of 400 meters, the Nembrini /Micheli family cultivates high-quality grapes. Following a decade-long restoration of a previously abandoned site, the winery manages the vineyards with a density of 6000 vines per hectare using cordon and guyot training systems. The grapes are harvested and vinified separately, followed by a long resting period in French oak barrels. This process yields harmonious wines with an intense body and distinct notes of red fruit and spices.
