About the estate

The Tenuta Bastonaca Società Agricola S.s. estate is located in Vittoria in Sicily and manages a vineyard area of 15 hectares. The headquarters of the winery is situated in an eighteenth-century palmento surrounded by traditional bush-trained vines and ancient olive trees. The cultivated grape varieties include Frappato, Nero d’Avola, Grenache, Tannat, as well as Nerello Mascalese and Cappuccio. Vineyard management relies on manual labor following natural farming principles and is currently in organic conversion. The production is complemented by vineyards in other denominations such as Etna and Pantelleria.
