About the estate
The Tenuta Arca Rubra estate originates from a long-standing passion for viticulture and the territory, pursued alongside architecture and urban planning by Matteo Huber. Following a period of experimental vinification, the commercial activity was officially established in 2005 with the first Ticino DOC wines. An important milestone in the history of the winery is the creation of the vineyard in Agra with approximately 4'200 vines, where six different grape varieties are cultivated to produce distinct wine styles. Since 2016, production has been concentrated in the cellar in Muzzano, maintaining a dedicated focus on artisanal methods from harvest to bottling. The production remains deliberately small to allow continued freedom for experimentation, research, and the expression of each vintage.
The eno directory lists 18 wines, mostly from Merlot and Carminoir.
