About the estate
The Steigler Pince estate farms twenty-one hectares of vineyards organically within the Sopron wine region. The plots feature distinct soils composed of mica schist, limestone, and humus-rich forest soil, shaped by the microclimate influenced by Lake Neusiedl and the surrounding mountains. The grape variety portfolio includes Grüner Veltliner, Kékfrankos, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, and the reintroduced Furmint. Located in the heart of the Poncichter quarter of Sopron, the historical cellar complex has been restored and serves as the production site. Managed by owner Bálint Lőrinczy and winemaker Tamás Varga, the winery combines historical heritage with environmentally conscious practices.
