The Gangl Borászat winery, located in the Sopron wine region, preserves the historical traditions and local culture of winemaking. The origins of viticulture in this area date back to the Celts, and winemaking around Sopron has continued uninterrupted ever since. The estate is closely tied to the history of local vine-growers, who are traditionally known as Poncichter. Today, the winery represents the cultural and historical heritage of this long-established Hungarian wine-producing region.
