About the estate
The Jagodics Pince estate was founded in 1997 by Tamás Jagodics, who planted two hectares of vines in the Borsmonostori vineyard site in Kőszeg. The winery is run as a family business by the next generation, continuing the work begun by the founder. The grape varieties cultivated on the estate include Blauburger, Kékfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, supplemented by grapes purchased from trusted producers such as Olaszrizling and Furmint. Winemaking relies on reductive, controlled fermentation as well as traditional skin contact for red wines. All operations reflect the characteristics of the Sopron wine region.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Blauburger and Kékfrankos.

A Blauburger különleges helyet foglal el a Jagodics Pince történetében. Ez a fajta édesapám munkásságához is szorosan kötődik, és az évek során a pincészet egyik meghatározó borává vált.
