About the estate
The Pfneiszl Birtok estate in Hungary was founded in 1993 and is located in the Sopron wine region. Sisters Birgit and Katrin Pfneiszl took over the family-run winery in 2006 and currently manage 13 hectares of vineyards. A total of nine grape varieties are cultivated on the property, with a strong focus on expressive wines such as Kékfrankos. Farming is carried out by the family together with a permanent vineyard employee. Each of the premium bottlings is accompanied by a short story reflecting experiences from the estate.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Kékfrankos and Zefír.

A olykor kicsit vadnak tűnő Kékfrankos fiatalos könnyedsége kitűnően párosul a Shiraz előkelő természetével.
