About the estate
Located in Spitz in the Wachau region, the Stalzer estate is run in the seventh generation by Johannes Stalzer together with his mother Veronika. The winery cultivates 4.5 hectares of vineyards, a large part of which is situated on steep stone terraces in the Zornberg and Vogelleithen sites. The main grape varieties are Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Neuburger. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand in autumn. As a member of Vinea Wachau, the estate produces its wines in the Steinfeder, Federspiel and Smaragd quality categories.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Gelber Muskateller.
