About the estate
The Soto del Vicario winery is located in the heart of the Bierzo denomination of origin in the village of San Clemente near Cacabelos. Across 19 hectares of vineyards divided into 190 small plots, the estate cultivates grape varieties such as Mencía, Godello, Doña Blanca, Jerez, and Malvasía. Some of the old Mencía vines reach up to 110 years of age. Since 2006, oenologist Sandra Luque Muñoz has led the winemaking at the estate. The portfolio includes labels such as Go de Godello, Men de Mencía, and Men Selección.
