About the estate
The Solo Vino winery was founded in 2007 by Javier Zaccagnini in the Ribera del Duero region with the vision of crafting a personal Tempranillo focused on finesse and elegance. Today, the family-run project in Roa de Duero is managed by his son Michael Zaccagnini as technical director. The grapes originate from old, bush-trained vines in La Horra that range from over 60 up to 100 years of age. In the cellar, the team utilizes small stainless steel tanks for separate parcel vinification, gentle fermentations, and a low-intervention approach. The resulting wines reflect a nuanced style inspired by the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
