About the estate

Founded in 1964, the Sociedade Vinícola de Palmela winery is one of the oldest and most relevant producers on the Setúbal Peninsula. Production relies on two distinct terroirs, namely the clay and limestone slopes of the Arrábida mountain range and the sandy soils of Palmela. The portfolio includes grape varieties such as Moscatel de Alexandria, Moscatel Roxo, Castelão, Arinto, Fernão Pires, Touriga Nacional, and Syrah. With an annual commercialization of around 300,000 bottles of Moscatel, the estate is among the largest national producers of this wine type. The wines are distributed internationally.
