About the estate
The Sesikeli winery is led by winemaker Simon Sesikashvili in Telavi, Kakheti, and manages vineyards in the Alazani Valley. The estate builds on a family tradition and produces handmade natural wines using the ancient Qvevri method. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand in the morning hours to keep the grapes cool. Fermentation and aging take place in large clay vessels buried in the ground, resulting in wines such as Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, and Mtsvane. The portfolio is produced in limited quantities and exported internationally.
