About the estate
The Schlager winery, located in Schönau an der Triesting in the Thermenregion, was founded in 1988. Following an initial focus on the production of grape juices, the estate was reoriented around the turn of the millennium towards the production of high-quality wines from estate-owned vineyards. Over the years, the vineyard area was successively expanded through acquisitions and the integration of the paternal business. In the vineyard, the use of pesticides and insecticides is avoided, and work is carried out with a high proportion of foliage on the vine. The range of grape varieties includes Gelber Muskateller, Merlot, Sauvignon blanc, Zweigelt, and Pinot Noir.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Zweigelt.
