About the estate

The Schäffer Bio winery is a family business in Watzelsdorf in the northern Weinviertel that has existed since 1905. The estate is farmed with mixed agriculture, which includes viticulture, arable farming, fruit growing, and sheep breeding alongside wine production. In 1999, the farm converted to organic agriculture. The aim is to create a natural cycle through the diversity of the operation. The portfolio includes wine with the Weinviertel DAC designation of origin.
