Schabl

About the estate

The Schabl estate cultivates four and a half hectares of vineyards in Gumpoldskirchen within the Thermenregion, specializing in wines under the Thermenregion DAC designation. This historic winery is family-run and features a vintner's house with a core dating back to the Middle Ages. Christian Schabl manages the family business, placing great emphasis on resource-efficient and sustainable operations. Since the 2022 vintage, the estate has been certified with the Nachhaltig Austria seal of approval. A traditional focus of the winery is placed on the Welschriesling grape variety.

The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Rotgipfler and Zierfandler. Export markets include Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
