About the estate
The San Cristobal estate is located in the historic Pago de Valdestremero within the Ribera del Duero region. The 80 hectares of estate-owned vineyards are situated near Peñafiel on a privileged site divided into multiple micro-plots. Cultivation focuses exclusively on the Tinta Fina grape variety, which thrives across seven different soil types. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand on a plot-by-plot basis, followed by bunch cooling and cold maceration. The long-living wines are aged in French oak barrels.
