About the estate

The Sălcuța estate looks back on a history that began in 1950 with the establishment of the main winery in the village of the same name. Since 1995, the operation has been managed as a family business, currently run by the Pîslaru family and rooted in a winemaking tradition spanning three generations. The vineyards are located in the protected designation region of Ștefan Vodă and benefit from a unique terroir. The portfolio includes various lines such as APERTUS, EPIZŌD, ENO, and VALVERDE, featuring wines like Fetească Neagră, Rară Neagră, Saperavi, and Pinot Gris. Through continuous modernizations and the use of state-of-the-art cellar technology, both authentic local styles and international grape varieties are vinified.
