About the estate

The Riccardi Reale winery was founded by two former journalists who turned their hobby into a profession and now manage a seven-hectare estate across Bellegra and Olevano Romano in the Lazio region. The vineyards are situated on the Colle Pazzo hill, influenced by sea breezes, where volcanic soils and Cretaceous sandstones provide extraordinary biodiversity. The nature-focused, organically certified estate also follows biodynamic methods, featuring hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and no added substances. In the cellar, vinification and aging rely on concrete vats and handcrafted chestnut barrels. The portfolio encompasses natural wines with a strong focus on Cesanese alongside Malvasia, Rosciola, and Riesling.
