About the estate
The Rebbergverein Eggisbühl estate, located in Weggis in German-speaking Switzerland, has cultivated a sunny hillside location below the Eggisbühl hill chapel in Hertenstein since 1990. On the steep, terraced terrain, around 1,700 Pinot Noir vines are tended according to integrated production guidelines. Since 1992, the annual harvest has taken place in October, after which the grapes are transported to an external winery for pressing. The harvest is used to produce the wine bearing the AOC Lucerne designation.
