Raccaro

About the estate

The Raccaro estate looks back on a long history spanning four generations and was founded in 1928. The winery manages seven hectares of vineyards located in the municipality of Cormons on the slopes of Monte Quarin within the Collio region. The soils consist mainly of marl and sandstone, locally known as ponca, which shape the character of the wines. Production focuses on white grape varieties such as Friulano and Malvasia alongside the red wine Merlot. Sustainable agriculture and respect for natural cycles guide the work in the vineyards.
