About the estate
The Quinta Santa Eufémia estate is located on the southern banks of the Douro River in the Douro region and traces its history back to 1864, when Bernardo Rodrigues de Carvalho founded the property. Today, the fourth generation of the family, consisting of seven siblings, manages approximately 50 hectares of vineyards. Winemaking traditionally involves treading grapes in granite lagares, followed by aging in oak casks. The portfolio includes Port wines of the Porto DOC denomination as well as Douro DOC wines and olive oil, which are distributed internationally.
