About the estate

The Quinta do Roncão estate manages 23 hectares of land comprising vineyards and olive groves in Peso da Régua in the heart of the Douro Region. Built in 1923, the winery is set into a hillside in three large terraces and preserves traditional schist and granite lagares. Maria Manuela converted the winery for modern winemaking in 2001, while the fourth generation has been crafting the wines since 2019. The vines are cultivated under Integrated Farming to ensure a more sustainable agricultural approach. The resulting wines carry the Douro DOC and Porto DOC designations.
