The traditional Quinta da Roêda estate in the Douro has a history dating back to 1588. The renowned property, situated along the riverbanks, comprises extensive terraced vineyards planted with traditional grape varieties. Following its acquisition by new owners, significant investments were made and traditional methods such as foot treading in granite lagares were reintroduced. The portfolio focuses on various styles of Port wine, including Vintage Port and innovative developments. Today, the estate operates as one of the prominent producers in the region.
