About the estate
The Portuguese winery Quinta da Penseira, S.A. is located in the heart of the Silgueiros sub-region within the Demarcated Region of Dão. The owner acquired the property in 1996 and initiated the restructuring of the old vineyards while respecting regional cultural traditions. The vineyards are situated on a south-facing slope overlooking the Dão river, benefiting from favorable soil and climatic conditions. Through this endeavor, the estate contributes to the resurgence of traditional estate wines within the Dão DOC denomination.
