About the estate

The winery ΚΤΗΜΑ ΜΑΝΩΛΕΣΑΚΗ in the Greek region of Drama was founded in 1989 by Giorgos Manolesakis, who was among the first to revive viticulture in the historic area of Adrianiani. Today, he runs the estate together with his son Stavros, managing a 20-hectare proprietary vineyard located on the slopes of the region. The vineyards are planted with French varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, alongside indigenous Greek varieties including Malagousia, Muscat of Alexandria, Assyrtiko, Agiorgitiko, Moschomavro, and Limnio. In 1998, a modern winery facility was completed on the estate to produce wines that reflect the local microclimate and terroir.
