About the estate
The Poggio Rubino estate was founded in 1997 by Alessandra Marzocchi and Edward Corsi, whose family roots in winemaking date back to the early 1950s. The property encompasses seven hectares of vineyards situated in various locations around Montalcino at altitudes between 350 and 470 meters above sea level. The vineyards are entirely planted with Sangiovese, cultivated by hand without the use of chemical herbicides. The portfolio includes the regional appellations of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC. Management across distinct microclimates shapes the individual character of the produced wines.
