About the estate
The Podere La Vigna estate is located in the hills of Montalcino in the area of Torrenieri in Tuscany and was established by Adriano Rubegni and Sonia Perugini. The roots of the property trace back to 1850, while the first Brunello di Montalcino was released with the 1996 vintage. Today, the family-run winery encompasses seven hectares of vineyards, which are almost entirely dedicated to the cultivation of the Sangiovese grape variety. Synthetic chemicals have been eliminated in the vineyards for years in favor of exclusive organic treatments. The portfolio of denominations includes Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Sangiovese.
