About the estate
The Podere Erica winery is located in the heart of Chianti in Tuscany and was founded in 2005 by Neal and Jan Dempsey. The estate consistently applies organic and biodynamic methods in both the vineyard and the cellar to produce terroir-driven natural wines without added chemicals and with very low sulfite levels. In addition to the vineyards, the property includes a restored farmhouse and an olive grove. Winemaker Marco Giordano manages the farm and production, while Pierpaolo Chelo oversees sales and marketing.
