About the estate
The Pietra estate is located in Montalcino in Tuscany and is run today by Roberto, Matteo, Antonella, Ivo, and Margherita, following decades of work by their ancestors to transform the land from forest into vineyards. The calcareous soils originated more than 50 million years ago and, together with the south-facing exposition, provide ideal conditions for cultivating Sangiovese. The Ferretti family focuses on producing the best possible grapes and follows simple, transparent procedures in the cellar. The portfolio features the Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino designations.
