About the estate
The Piancornello estate is located in Castelnuovo Abate, Tuscany, and is managed across four generations. The winery was founded in 1950 when the great-grandfather acquired the historic property and planted the first vineyards. Today, the estate spans approximately 20 hectares of vineyards in the Sesta area on a plateau featuring a Mediterranean microclimate and steep, stony red soils. The winery practices certified organic farming, overseen by Valoritalia. Its production includes Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, and Toscana IGT.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Sangiovese.
