About the estate

The Pfitscher winery has been run as a family business since 1861 and cultivates vineyards across six municipalities in South Tyrol. The vineyard areas are distributed across various sites, including steep slopes as well as high-altitude parcels reaching up to 900 meters. The grape variety portfolio includes Pinot Nero, Lagrein, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon, and Müller Thurgau, among others. Wine production is based on genuine manual labor and the aspiration to vinify fresh and authentic wines. In 2011, the family moved into a newly constructed, functional estate outside the village center of Montan that integrates harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
