About the estate

The Paul Direder winery is located in Kirchberg am Wagram in the Wagram wine region and is managed by Paul and Romana Direder in the fourth generation. Paul Direder took over his grandparents' farm in 2006 at the age of 16 and subsequently expanded the cultivation area. Spanning approximately 30 hectares of vineyard land that extend from the Schlossberg in Mitterstockstall across sites in Engelmannsbrunn and Gösing to the Steinthal vineyard, the estate focuses on close-to-nature and sustainable vineyard management. The fertile loess soils and favorable climate shape the landscape, offering ideal conditions for cultivating grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt. In addition to traditional bottled wine, the estate also cans Rosé and Grüner Veltliner.
