About the estate

The Pago de los Abuelos, S.L estate located in Puente de Domingo Flórez manages a vineyard area of six hectares in the Bierzo region. Established in 2018, the project focuses primarily on cultivating old mountain vineyards and tending historic vine plantations. The winery produces the native grape varieties Godello and Mencía following sustainable agricultural principles. Winemaking is based on parcel-specific management across steep slopes featuring slate soils. The first official vintage under the Bierzo DO designation was released in 2018.
