About the estate
The Omo estate in Brtonigla is run by winemaker and consultant Milan Budinski. The name derives from the local West Istrian dialect, highlighting the essential role of humans in terroir-driven viticulture. Production focuses on long-lived interpretations of local grape varieties such as Malvazija Istarska and Refošk. The vineyards are farmed organically on selected sites to ensure natural stability and expression. The wines undergo at least 18 months of cellar aging and are bottled once a year in late spring.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Malvazija Istarska and Refošk.
