About the estate

The Degrassi winery was established in 1996 and is built upon the heritage of father and son. Spanning 17 hectares of vineyards, the estate cultivates vines on the mineral-rich terroir featuring the white soils of Buje and the red soils of Umag. The portfolio includes 14 grape varieties and over 40 labels, comprising both indigenous and international types. The wines reflect the potential of the region by combining traditional methods with long-standing experience. The denomination for the products is Hrvatska Istra.

The eno directory lists 18 wines, mostly from Malvasia and Chardonnay. The estate sells to distributors. Export markets include Slovenia, Belgium and Switzerland.
