About the estate

The Oiseau Rebelle estate was founded in 2014 in Banyuls sur Mer in the Roussillon region of southern France. The vineyards are situated on steep terraces featuring old, single-stake vines in a Mediterranean climate. Cultivated grape varieties consist mainly of Grenache, alongside small proportions of Vermentino, Muscat, and Mourvèdre. The winery follows organic principles with entirely manual labor in the vineyards and a minimal-intervention winemaking process avoiding additives such as sulfur, pressing, or filtration. The wines are distributed internationally, reaching markets in Japan, England, Canada, and Switzerland.
