About the estate

The Moellinger Joseph et Fils estate is located in Wettolsheim in the Alsace region and is managed by Michel Moellinger, representing generations of winemakers, alongside his wife Isabelle. The vineyards situated on the slopes of Wettolsheim are cultivated using sustainable methods, with organic wine production starting from the 2023 vintage. The winery farms parcels in the Grand Cru sites Hengst, Steingrubler, and Pfersigberg, as well as the Rosenberg lieu-dit. In the cellar, the estate combines the use of very old wooden casks with modern stainless steel tanks to produce traditional Alsatian grape varieties.
