About the estate

The Dorli Muhr estate has its roots in a small plot on the Ried Roterd in Prellenkirchen that remained in family ownership for decades. Following the replanting of the fallow land on the Spitzerberg in 1995, wine production resumed in 2002. After a period of growth and collaboration under the name Muhr-van der Niepoort, Dorli Muhr fully acquired the shares in 2019 and relocated the company headquarters to Prellenkirchen. Today, the winery cultivates twelve hectares of vineyards in the Carnuntum region. In the purist cellar, winemaker Lukas Brandstätter vinifies wines with intensive aromas and an elegant structure, focusing on Blaufränkisch in its finest variations.
