The Mayr winery is a traditional family estate located in Oberthern in the Weinviertel wine region, jointly managed by Johannes, Franz, and Christine Mayr. Spanning eleven hectares of vineyards across 16 different single-vineyard sites, cultivation focuses primarily on Grüner Veltliner alongside traditional indigenous varieties, international grapes, and red wines. The portfolio consists of fruit-driven and varietally typical wines, produced through nature-friendly vineyard management combined with modern temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for whites and traditional wooden barrels for reds. Distribution centers largely on direct sales to consumers, supported by personalized customer service and wine tastings.
