Mauslocherhof

About the estate

The Mauslocherhof winery looks back on a history documented since 1469 and has been family-owned for generations. Traditional grape varieties of South Tyrol are cultivated on about two hectares of vineyards situated on steep slopes near Merano. The vineyard soils consist of mineral-rich moraine deposits, sandy-loam layers, and primitive rock. Working in harmony with nature, the estate refrains from using herbicides and harvests all grapes exclusively by hand. Completed in 2017, the modern winery is largely subterranean and combines the gentle processing of the grapes with local materials.

The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc.
