About the estate
The Mas Origine estate was founded in 2022 by Julien Fabregat and Laura Balsan in Montpeyroux. Spanning 17 hectares of vineyards across several communes, the winery places great emphasis on biodiversity and soil health. The local soils consist mainly of clay-limestone, marl, and sandstone. Eight different grape varieties, including Syrah, Grenache, and Marsanne, are cultivated to produce authentic wines. Their production includes regional appellations such as AOC Montpeyroux and AOC Terrasses du Larzac.
