The Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha estate is located in the Dão region of Portugal, specifically within the Serra da Estrela sub-region in Gouveia. The historic property has been owned by the Mendes Oliva family since the late 18th century and is currently led by Maria de Lourdes Mendes Oliva Nunes Albuquerque Osório, with her daughter working as the estate's viticulturist and winemaker. The vineyards cover 50 hectares of replanted vines alongside 7 hectares of old vines situated on granite soils at an altitude of 400 metres. Production relies exclusively on indigenous grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional and Encruzado. The winemaking approach focuses on a classic profile shaped by respect for the environment and sustainable practices in the vineyard.
